Believe in yourself when no one else will.

I just received a text from a friend asking for support for a major life style change. It is amazing how much we can accomplish when we just have the support. Many times, people do not try new things or go after their goals because they do not believe in themselves. If you don’t believe in yourself, find someone who does. This is important in enjoying life’s success. To truly be successful, one has to believe that they can achieve something for the greater good; and do it! Success is more than the big house, fancy car and traveling across the world. Success is about loving what you do, helping others and believing you can do more with your circumstance. One of the ways to engage in all of these behaviors is to surround yourself with people who believe in you and your goals. Contrary to popular belief, you are going to have moments when you ask yourself “what’s my purpose on earth.” You may even doubt your beliefs, but as long as you have great supporters around; your success will be there!

 How many times have we felt like we’ve been beating our head against a wall?  When your hard work isn't paying off, it can be helpful to step back and reassess your approach. Here are a few things you can try: Set specific, measurable goals: Make sure you know what you're working towards and how you'll know when you've achieved it. Get feedback: Ask for feedback from others and use it to improve.  However, it is important to make sure you get feedback from ‘right’ person. I mean, you know what they say about opinions.
