Let people know what you represent?

Why you should let people know who you are? Well, first, how are you going to get paid? If people don't know who you are, what you do, and how you make money; there's no way that they can refer you business.

I'm not saying throw your success in people face. Just because you are in the top of your class and make a million dollars a year, does not mean everyone wants to hear it. However, if you want to help others to be in the top of their class or make a million dollars, TELL people.

If you want to be successful in life you have to let people know what you do for a living, what you're about, and what you represent.

I am doing this program 75 Hard developed by Andy Frisella. And the programs require no drinking and working out twice a day, amongst other things. For me to be successful with this program, my group of friends and family need to understand that I'm not drinking alcohol and my time is very limited. So I'm now on day 40 something. But I think the reason why I am on that day is because I've learned to let people know what I'm about.

When you let people know what you represent they know (1) what they can and cannot do around you; (2)  what they can and cannot say about you; and (3) they can’t speak about you in a certain light when they aren’t in your presence.

As a business owner, I've learned to not only be very focused in what I do, but also learn to craft people views of me. You can't control everyone’s thought about you. But what you post on social media; and send via text messages or emails can have an effect on how people view you.

Don't be scared to let people know who you are and what you represent! It's not only about the money but it's also about surround yourself with people who are going to accept you for who you are and motivate you to be better!

Takeaways:

Letting know where you stand and living by the standard will always give you the upper hand in life. Not that you’ll looking to compete. But, maybe you are looking to live a good and healthy life.
