Transparency is Key

What is transparency? I know a lot of you guys are probably wondering what the hell am I talking about?

Whether you are trying to grow yourself, your business, in education, your family relationships, or your spiritual walk; you need to have a certain degree of transparency with yourself and those around you.

Now transparency for me is not an opportunity for you to ‘dog’ someone. Transparency is about letting yourself and others know around you what you're trying to accomplish and what it's going to take to accomplish it.

Often when I talk about how to get to the next level success, I say you got to find out where you are and find out where you trying to go.

Transparency affords a lot of people the opportunity to really see themselves for who they are. And I'm talking about those people who have been degraded all their life by family and friends.

I am talking about those people who have been put on pedestals and have fallen.

No matter where you are in life you, you have to find a way to be transparent with yourself and those around you. I refer these people as your A-Team.

Ray Dalio in his book Principles talks about transparency. And I am following his lead! Transparency is not about complete 1000% honesty but being radically transparent. If you are too transparent, then guess what, you tend to hurt people feelings.

Radical transparency means you have a specific reason for doing so and it is for the better good. So if you are thinking about moving to the next level in your life, whether it's your spiritual walk, business development, education, or better relationship with your family; ask yourself am I being radically transparent with where I am and where I want to go with myself and those around me.

When your hardwork isn't paying off?

 How many times have we felt like we’ve been beating our head against a wall?  When your hard work isn't paying off, it can be helpful to step back and reassess your approach. Here are a few things you can try: Set specific, measurable goals: Make sure you know what you're working towards and how you'll know when you've achieved it. Get feedback: Ask for feedback from others and use it to improve.  However, it is important to make sure you get feedback from ‘right’ person. I mean, you know what they say about opinions.
